Corey has the resources to offer inception to completion manufacturing and welcomes a partnership with the customer. Through a process called Early Supplier Involvement our customers interact with our staff at program inception. When brainstorming with our customers, we learn the specific requirements that are critical to each job and are able to offer suggestions in an effort to reduce costs and improve the manufacturing process.

We bring to the medical /surgical equipment market expertise in miniature and microminiature assembly. We have welded wire .00035" in diameter and as the norm, assemble units with .001" diameter wire, both insulated and non-insulated. We routinely do:

• Coil winding
• Micro stripping
• Resistance welding
• Soldering
• Encapsulating (sensors & thermister)
• Assembly under a 30X microscope

How do these unique skills translate into helping you with your next product? We currently produce subassemblies for catheters, thermal dilution, EP, pacing and all types of miniature sensors, including thermister assemblies. One of our projects involves winding eight .001" diameter Teflon insulated wires in an electrode with used by neurosurgeons for epilepsy diagnosis.

Another project utilizes our microminiature assembly and adhesive application skills. We are working with a leading fertility specialist in the development of a sperm count device. We helped develop the prototype units and are now preparing for production quantities. Fischer Scientific featured this unit as one of their products to watch for the year 2000.
