this company's information |
Invitrogen provides essential life science technologies for disease research, drug discovery, and commercial bioproduction. Founded in 1987, Invitrogen Molecular Probes is headquartered in Carlsbad, California, and conducts business in more than 70 countries around the world. The company is celebrating 20 years of accelerating scientific discovery. Molecular Probes manufactures a wide range of quality products for use in laboratories worldwide; many of these products are available in bulk or on an OEM basis. Qdot® nanocrystals
Revolutionize fluorescence performance with Qdot® nanocrystals long-term stability for live-cell imaging and dynamics studies, fixability for follow-up immunofluorescence from in vivo studies, archivability for permanent sample storage in pathology, and brilliant colors for simple, single-excitation, multicolor analysis.
IDC white and surfactant-free microspheres
For reliable bead-based assays for diagnostics, protein conjugation, and lateral flow, use white and surfactant-free microspheres.
Many surface types, multiple sizes, custom manufacture. Whatever your needs, IDC microspheres deliver:
Fluorescent microspheres/nanospheres/nanoparticles
Intensely fluorescent microspheres for calibrating fluorescence-based microscopes and multicolor detection demonstrations.
Molecular Probes' intensely fluorescent FluoSpheres and TransFluoSpheres are manufactured using high-quality, ultraclean polystyrene microspheres. These microspheres are internally labeled with Molecular Probes' proprietary dyes, making them the brightest fluorescent microspheres available. We employ methods to ensure that each bead is heavily loaded with dye. The protective environment within the bead matrix shields the dyes from many of the environmental effects that cause photobleaching of exposed fluorophores.
