The company's primary 375,000-square-foot facility houses equipment that stands at the forefront of technology. Available are over 70 injection-molding and 9 insertion-molding machines, 9 extruders with custom-controlled laser micrometering, custom molding and extrusion, and ultrasonic welding systems. We also offer high-speed and manual assembly, dozens of packaging options, and full EtO sterilization capabilities – all operating under a stringent quality assurance program.

Custom kits, trays and products

Hundreds of companies work with B. Braun OEM Division to produce custom, private-labeled trays and kits featuring a variety of components. Experienced design engineers will work with you to develop disposable procedure kits that enhance your existing product line.

Quality components

With over 35 check valves and seven patents, B. Braun OEM Division is an industry leader in valve design and production. But valves are only the beginning. Our product line covers the entire spectrum from adapters to clamping, piercing and capping devices to chamber assemblies to stopcocks and custom tubing. And for pharmaceutical applications, we offer the MINI-SPIKE® Dispensing Pin, filter needles, vented needles, double ended transfer needles, air venting filters and filter hubs in a variety of configurations.

Making healthcare safer

B. Braun OEM Division offers breakthrough products that can make healthcare delivery safer for patients and caregivers. The Introcan Safety® IV Catheter incorporates a passive design to minimize needlestick injuries without requiring user activation. The Safecan™ Safety Introducer Needle from B. Braun features a patented safety clip that covers the needletip upon user activation. The needle-free ULTRASITE® valve, available In-line or with a Y-site, has a unique positive pressure design which prevents fluid from being drawn back when the Luer taper is removed. It can simplify the handling and safety of virtually any intravenous procedure.

In addition, B. Braun OEM Division is the only manufacturer of a full line of basic IV solutions in PVC-Free and DEHP-free containers. Our EXCEL® and PAB® containers and DUPLEX® Drug Delivery System feature biologically inert, latex-free, non-toxic plastic construction. These unique PVC-Free and DEHP-Free designs provide for a safe, accurate means of administering IV medication.
