STENT CRIMPING
MSI's patented stent crimping technology has become the industry standard for crimping balloon expandable, self expanding (Nitinol) and drug eluting stent products. MSI offers a comprehensive line of stent crimping tools to meet customer needs.

BALLOON CATHETER PLEATING & FOLDING
The FFS Equipment features our unique, proprietary WavePleat™ Technology mechanism that allows for precise, consistent, and repeatable balloon profiles quickly and without the need for operator hand folding. The original MSI WavePleat™ Technology integrates advanced process controls and automation into your catheter processing.

MARKER BAND SWAGING
The MSI swaging equipment eliminates several operator steps by integrating our proprietary, automatic and precise positioning feature into the swaging process as well as an in line QA/QC inspection system. The MSI Swaging equipment is the first technology developed with the specific needs of catheter manufactures in mind.

CATHETER & STENT TESTING
The MSI catheter & stent testing tools have an emphasis on improving repeatability while increasing accuracy and resolution in your testing environment. Current products include tools for quantitatively analyzing catheter performance features and stent radial strength and stiffness as well as providing contract testing services.

TUBE PROCESSING SYSTEMS
The MSI thermal shrinking systems are used during tubing processing to apply heat to a wide variety of delivery systems within the medical device industry. Our current product offering include the Vertical Shrinker/Laminator, Thermal (Hot) box and Distal/Proximal balloon tip bonder.

BALLOON BLOWING/FORMING
The MSI balloon blow molding/forming machine features a highly flexible user friendly control interface. Unique MSI heating controls offer several options for process development including spot heating along the mold length, uniform heating of the entire mold or a combination of the two. The platform also offers automated neck/parison location within the mold, tube puncture mechanism and data acquisition capabilities.

SPRAY COATING
The MSI spray coating equipment offers multiple spray options allowing for a highly focused, uniform coating process. The MSI equipment offers a one step process that eliminates an operator handling step and reduces cycle time. The MSI process is versatile across various polymer, solvent and drug combinations with options for abluminal only coating or abluminal and luminal coating of stents. Equipment options include an automated stent handling system.
