Introduction
For over 30 years, A.C. Hoffman Engineering has provided custom precision molded rubber components to the medical device industry. Our mission, vision, and values keep us focused not only on our customer’s current requirements, but also on their future needs and objectives.
Products and Applications
Our custom components include check valves (duckbill, disk, and umbrella), diaphragms, seals, injection sites, and closures. These products are used in many applications that include pharmaceuticals, IV sets, respiratory therapy, surgical devices, diagnostics, and catheters.
Duckbills
Our standard line of Duckbill Check Valves provides fast, low cost solutions to your fluid directional control needs. These precision valves will meet most flow and pressure requirements. Both normally open and normally closed designs are offered in a variety of polymers.
Capabilities
Our complete molding capabilities include flash-free injection molding of liquid silicone in a certified Class 100,000 cleanroom as well as precision compression and transfer molding. We offer a wide variety of standard and custom formulated “Latex-Free” materials to comply with your functional and biocompatibility requirements. Innovative secondary operations are available to cut, slit, wash, and provide surface modification of molded products.
Engineering Services
Our engineering team guides each project from product development through high volume manufacturing. With your input, we will provide product design support as well as complete tool design and construction, compound development, and prototyping of samples for your evaluation. Upon successful implementation into production, our staff remains at your side for the inevitable changes that occur during the product life cycle.
