EFD's Optimum Component Product Line. In developing Optimum, EFD has taken a new approach and employed Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) software to engineer a new, comprehensive family of disposable components that bring fluid dispensing and filling processes to a higher level of reliability to meet the stringent demands of today's cutting edge manufacturing processes.

EFD's new Performus™ Product Line offers different configurations—a unique, cost-effective approach that allows manufacturers to choose from a wide range of capabilities and purchase only those needed for their specific application. Models range from the basic Performus I for manually controlled dispensing processes to the Performus VIII, a sophisticated air-powered unit that employs controlled air pressure and a microprocessor-based timer to make consistent, repeatable fluid deposits as small as 0.004" in diameter. All Performus units feature a unique compact cabinet that saves space on crowded benchtops, along with an easy mounting system that allows them to be integrated into a variety of workstation layouts. 0-100 psi general-purpose or 0-15 psi thin fluid pressure regulator.

EFD 784S-SS aseptic spray valve system dispenses precise, consistent amounts of stent coatings, saline solutions, silicone oils and many other fluids used in medical and pharmaceutical production processes. It is compatible with wide range of low- to medium-viscosity fluids and is ideal for medical coating applications. It features a unique aseptic design with a fluid flow path that is free of any entrapment areas—a critical consideration in sterile and aseptic fluid applications.
